Is it fair that we will all have to tighten our belts – so to speak – because some people feel they must multiply at enormous speed or just have children without thinking about them and their future ?

Is it fair that everyone in this world will be disadvantaged because some couples decide to have very large families ?

Is it fair that our present way of life would quickly disappear if we all simply threw open our borders to any number of people that for any number of reasons decide to immigrate and move to a new country? And which would also definitely result in our government curtailing our freedoms even more?

Is it fair that all the people in the world will suffer the many negative results of an ever-increasing population – as set out in this web-site – even though they themselves have not contributed to this population increase ?

Is it fair that we and the governments continue to take in too many immigrants and continue to allow couples to have (too ?) many children, while at the same time telling us we have to minimise our use of water, power and other resources because we are starting to run out ?

BABIES YES, IMMIGRATION YES - BUT ON A SUSTAINABLE LEVEL !

So whatever you decide to do, please give it some serious thought and don't just 'have kids because everyone around you has them'. Children are precious and deserve a good future, like we do. It is not the quantity that counts, but the quality.

a) An ever increasing population until we are all squashed together in towns and cities that are too stressful and polluted to live in ? Or:

b) a decrease in population growth until we have real sustainability and can start concentrating on improving the quality of people's lives all over the world?
